Business In The Community Limited Privacy Statement
Collection:
Business in the Community Limited ("BITC Limited", "we" or "us") gathers various information about clients and other users of the BITC Limited website (the "Site"). This information includes:
| (a). | personal information, provided through voluntary applications or advertising; |
| (b). | personal information, provided to us by you through any other method (including, without limitation, correspondence and discussions); |
| (c). | personal information collected by us through click tracking in relation to your use of the Site, including the content you access; |
| (d). | aggregated data, which tracks traffic to Site; and |
| (e). | cookies, which are pieces of information transferred to your computer hard drive for record keeping (such as your preferences on our Site). |
Purposes:

BITC Limited may disclose all of the information that it collects to mentors and sponsors. Additionally, BITC Limited may disclose to third parties:

| (b). | your personal information, when BITC Limited believes in good faith that BITC Limited is required to do so by law; and |
| (c). | your personal information, provided BITC Limited has your prior authorisation, which BITC Limited will usually obtain at the time of collecting the information from you. |
Cookies and Tracking:
BITC Limited may use a "cookie" file containing information that can identify the computer you are working from. The cookie file does not identify you or your business personally, as it only gives BITC Limited details of your IP address, PC platform (e.g. Windows, NT or Mac), Browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape or other, plus the version of Browser) and domain. BITC Limited may use the information generated by cookies to:
| (a). | track traffic patterns to and from the Sites; |
| (b). | ensure any advertising is being shown to the most appropriate party; and |
| (c). | enable you to enter the Site and use certain services or visit restricted areas in the Site without having to log on each time. Holding, Correcting and Updating:
Any personal information that you provide to BITC Limited will be collected and held by BITC Limited at its official place of business in New Zealand as advised on the Site from time to time. If you are an individual, under the Privacy Act 1993 you have rights of access to and correction of the personal information held by us. BITC Limited offers the ability to access, correct and/or change the information collected at any time and as often as necessary by making contact with your local Business Mentors New Zealand Agency 's Mentor Co-ordinator.
